Evonik’s product, TEGO® Twin 4100, was recently honored as the recipient of the Ringier Technology Innovation Award 2011 for the coatings industry. A panel of independent experts from the coatings industry recognizes TEGO® Twin 4100 as a novel and unique substrate wetting additive based on multifunctional Siloxane technology.

On March 25th Evonik Industries concluded a contract to acquire the hanse chemie Group which consists of hanse chemie AG and nanoresins AG. The transaction is subject to the approval of Evonik’s supervisory board. Evonik Tego Chemie GmbH will in future distribute products from nanoresins AG portfolio of Nanocomposites for the coatings sector. These products enable the company to expand its range of products for improving the scratch resistance of coatings.
